But wait, there's two more...

The Official Old's Cool Handbook I was our first wicked/smart  attempt to size the intelligent universe up.

This three-handbook set (Handbook, Black Book, and Read Book) was our first attempt at writing a primer for life. In addition to learned wisdom that is both timely and timeless, as well as tons of sports, literature, science and geography facts and fun, we'll also introduce to some of our heroes: Beryl Markham, General Grant, the indomitable Apsley Cherry-Garrard, Dr. Jordan Peterson–our Socrates, Shakespeare, Montaigne, and many more.

What's The Official Old's Cool Education I?

 And last but not least!

The Official Old's Cool Education II is our favorite wicked literate winner.

The Official Old's Cool Education II was inspired by the fun we've had just messing about in boats, or hiking over field and stream with gun in hand and birds on the wing in a beautiful blue sky flocked with sunshine. Or the realization that driving slow cars fast is better than driving fast cars slow, especially classics with the top down and the wind in your hair.

Don't believe us.

Mike Lerario, author of Leadership in Balance, retired army special forces officer and West Point graduate from Fayetteville, North Carolina had some great things to say about these classics.

Be good!

Reading the sky blue Oneupmanship Fun and Games. Page 46 notes Pascal’s famous proposition re: god. I’ve always wondered what he meant by “ infinite loss”. Infinite loss of what–exactly, I’ve asked myself.

It’s good to be good. It’s good to be kind. Live a good and kind life. Who gives a rat’s ass about “infinite loss”?

Who's laughing now? Me!

Johnny, my friend,

Excellent information, and I've read the Cookbook through 2 x. But in the next edition, you may also want to teach your gifted readers about fermentation, tannins and polyphenols; derivatives of yeast for bread, and later for food fermentation; tannins from stored, most common red wine and best of all, the substance called polyphenols, best of them from the unrefined oil pressed from olives (see attachment below *) your examples of men were the earliest discoverers of these substances and their beneficial actions and reactions, not by our names of today, but known nevertheless.

It is highly likely that you and your wiseacres will eventually learn about the benefits of taking a TBLs mixture of EVOO and a spritz of fresh lemon juice on a daily basis for their marvelous health benefits, most especially for the all important healthy life of our red blood.

A Dinner with Destiny

"Thanks for sending me your latest masterpieces (Playbook, Cookbook, and Whirled Book), and of course the "Death before Dishonor, Drinks before Lunch' decal.

You know the question people get asked: 'If you could invite anyone to dinner, who would it be?' Most would answer, Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, or someone like that?

Well, I would pick you."
